According to a leak from the Board Channels forum, supply for the RTX 4060 is expected to decrease by at least 60% year over year, with board partners receiving fewer units starting in the first quarter of 2025.
While Nvidia has yet to confirm these reports, the timing aligns with rumors that the GeForce RTX 5060 is set for release in March 2025. It’s common for graphics card manufacturers to wind down production of older models as a new generation approaches, making it increasingly difficult to find the outgoing card at retail prices. Although this supply reduction is initially expected to impact China, it’s likely to have a global effect, with stock shortages and potential price increases for the RTX 4060 in various markets.
