With an official RTX 5060 announcement expected in the coming months, the current supply trends suggest Nvidia is preparing for a generational shift, making the RTX 4060 a likely candidate for scarcity as 2025 progresses. Nvidia has confirmed that a small fraction of its new RTX 50 series graphics cards, including certain models of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5070 Ti, are missing eight crucial ROP (Raster Operating Pipeline) units. While the GTX Titan X Pascal did prove to be around 30% faster than the GTX 1080, the pricing of the graphics card was not friendly to everyone, especially enthusiasts who are on a budget.
