Equally, Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard and its ongoing cloud gaming push via Xbox Cloud Gaming and Game Pass Ultimate suggest this handheld may act as a versatile portal into both local and streamed play. Support for multiple digital storefronts—including Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, and potentially Steam—could position the device as a one-stop hub for the Xbox ecosystem and beyond, though DRM and exclusive licensing may limit full cross-platform parity.
