Microsoft is continuing its push to make Xbox gaming more accessible than ever—this time by bringing the Xbox app to LG smart TVs. Users simply need to download the Xbox app from the LG Content Store, connect a Bluetooth-enabled controller, and subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to jump into a growing library of cloud-enabled titles. For the latest 2025 LG models, including new OLEDs and gaming monitors, the Xbox app is integrated directly into the LG Gaming Portal, providing seamless access right out of the box. The app interface mirrors what players have come to expect from Xbox Cloud Gaming on browsers and mobile—quick navigation, personalized game suggestions, and the full Game Pass Ultimate library. With a strong internet connection and a controller, players can explore major Xbox titles such as Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Minecraft Legends without touching a console. As the cloud gaming market continues to grow, Microsoft’s Xbox TV app could become a central piece in redefining how players access and interact with video games. The feature will also expand beyond PC, with Microsoft confirming that Gaming Copilot will arrive on the Xbox mobile app for iOS and Android in October.
