#Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis

Tomb Raider returns to its roots Lara Croft also made a major appearance at Gamescom with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Crystal Dynamics and co-developer Flying Wild Hog described the project as a careful balancing act between preserving what made the original Tomb Raider memorable and updating its gameplay for modern players. From major revivals like The Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, Fable, Onimusha, and Alien: Isolation to unexpected announcements and a particularly strong showing from indie developers, this year's event offered a healthy mix of established franchises and new ideas. And with The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past, Alien: Isolation 2, Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, and plenty more now on the horizon, Gamescom 2026 gave gamers plenty of reasons to keep their calendars full.
