Infinity Ward is leading development, and the game lands on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox on PC), and for the first time in franchise history, Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is being developed by Digital Legends, separate from the main build. For readers who have been following the Nintendo Switch 2 side of things, our earlier piece on Nintendo Switch 2 backwards compatibility is worth checking before the October window. And with Switch 2 getting a native version from Digital Legends, does that change anything for you? Last March we saw the rise of a hybrid console in the form of the Nintendo Switch. It immediately put Nintendo back into the competition, but sadly during release, we only had a small library of games. Fast forward to today we now have a booming selection of games for the Switch. September was a pretty big month for the Switch as it received four Major game releases, well ports to be exact -- Pokken Tournament DX, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, and Lego Worlds. It garnered positive criticism from fans and Switch owners alike and provided the console with another solid fighting game.
