Sony has launched a limited edition model of the PlayStation 4 called DAYS OF PLAY LIMITED EDITION 2019 along with numerous product discounts for customers. As part of the global Days of Play sale which will commence on June 7, 2019, until June 17, 2019, Sony launched the PS4 limited edition Steel Black color. It features the iconic PlayStation shapes embossed in silver with a hairline touch. Microsoft just released their Xbox One S update console recently, Nintendo is yet to release to their next-gen console, and Sony has just dropped the date for their PS4 Update to the press they've invited. Rumor has it that it will have an upgraded GPU, support for 4K resolution games, and enhanced Support for PlayStation VR. The PlayStation 4 Neo / 4.5 is expected to come with a redesign as well, and is expected to be announced on September 7. Sony is exploring a future where PlayStation controllers may never need to be plugged in again. The patent, titled "Operation Device," reveals Sony’s plans to embed photovoltaic elements—the same technology used in solar panels—into the structure of PlayStation controllers.
