Konami has officially announced that it is working on a full-blown remake of the two-decade old game, Silent Hill 2 as timed console exclusive for PlayStation 5 and PC. Silent Hill 2 remake developed by Bloober Team [caption id="attachment_304328" align="alignnone" width="720"] Image/ Konami[/caption] Bloober Team, founded in 2008, is handling the development for the Silent Hill 2 remake, the same studio who developed Layers of Fear and The Medium. The Silent Hill 2 is slated for PS5 and PC for the first 12 months post release. Original creators of Silent Hill 2 including concept artist Masahiro Ito and Akira Yamaoka, are part of the remake's development to "ensure the unique Silent Hill atmosphere intact." https://youtu.be/W7EzY_SBuHU Additionally, in a 48-minute livestream, the publisher showcased its huge plans for the Silent Hill franchise. That includes the game remake, a new movie sequel, some merch, interactive games, and a brand-new main series game called Silent Hill F.
