The creators behind Pokémon are venturing into new territory with the global release of Pandoland, a vibrant and accessible mobile RPG developed by Game Freak in partnership with Japanese mobile studio WonderPlanet. WonderPlanet, known for mobile hits like Crash Fever, brings expertise in gacha-style progression systems and live event integration, suggesting Pandoland will evolve with frequent updates and seasonal content. Beyond combat, Pandoland emphasizes social gameplay. With a colorful world, collectible madness, and real-time multiplayer aspects, Pandoland is Game Freak’s boldest mobile move yet outside the Pokémon franchise. Blizzard has announced that it is no longer developing new content for its mobile game Warcraft Rumble. The game was Blizzard’s first mobile-only title set in the Warcraft universe. At one point, Blizzard was also working on a second mobile game similar to Pokémon Go, but that project was canceled in 2022 before it was officially revealed. Riot Games is bringing its popular tactical shooter, VALORANT, to mobile devices, aiming to deliver the same precise gunplay and strategic team-based combat that fans love.
