According to dataminer Llamalaxy and former Blizzard employee OverwatchNaeri, four new skins are slated to arrive based on iconic Gundam suits: Mercy: Wing Gundam – A skin modeled after Heero Yuy’s Wing Gundam, with flying elements that match Mercy’s airborne playstyle. While these skins are the highlight of the leak, additional themed cosmetics such as sprays, player icons, and emotes may also be part of the bundle. Some Overwatch 2 players are excited about the detailed anime crossovers, while others expressed fatigue at yet another high-profile skin being given to Mercy, who already receives frequent cosmetic updates. If the leak holds true, players can expect the Gundam Wing collaboration to land in-game on April 25, with premium skins and event content likely available through the in-game shop or as part of a themed bundle.
