Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Cross-Play is coming to Overwatch soon, allowing players from different platforms to team up. Cross-play is enabled for all game modes with an exception for Competitive matches. The Overwatch Cross-Play Beta will officially launch soon on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. The world of Overwatch 2 is gearing up for a high-tech crossover, as trusted leakers have revealed a collaboration with the legendary mecha anime Gundam Wing. The leak, which surfaced via social media posts from reliable sources in the Overwatch community, hints at a range of anime-inspired skins and cosmetics expected to launch as part of Season 16—coinciding with Gundam Wing's 30th anniversary on April 25, 2025.
