Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Overwatch 2 will be launching on October 4 and will be free-to-play on Windows PC and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch consoles. Overwatch 2 was first announced in 2019 and is the sequel to Overwatch released in 2016. As a way of thanking original players, the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack will be free in-game to all existing players who own Overwatch. To be eligible for the Founder’s Pack, players need to own Overwatch prior to June 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. This includes logging into Overwatch prior to October 4, or logging into Overwatch 2 after launch. Spotify will be coming to the Xbox One soon and is currently being tested internally. Spotify has recently arrived on Windows 10 as a desktop application which does not support Xbox One consoles.
