Valve is adding a sleek new look to its handheld gaming lineup with the announcement of the limited edition White Steam Deck OLED. The new White Steam Deck OLED shares the same specs as the one-terabyte model, featuring Valve's recently released OLED display technology, which boasts improved contrast, richer colors, and better battery efficiency. This is Valve’s second color variant, following last year’s release of the popular smoky translucent Steam Deck OLED, which quickly sold out and demonstrated high interest in alternative designs. In a statement, the company highlighted, “We’re continuously working to improve Steam Deck, from ongoing software updates to the recent launch of the Steam Deck OLED. The Steam Deck OLED has been warmly received since its launch in March 2022, and this limited release offers a fresh twist for fans of Valve’s handheld console. Philips' gaming sub-brand, Evnia, has introduced its latest flagship monitor, the 27M2N8800, designed to elevate the gaming experience with cutting-edge display technology and immersive features. The 27M2N8800 boasts a 27-inch 4K (3840x2160) QD-OLED panel, delivering vibrant colors and deep contrasts. With a rapid 240Hz refresh rate and a swift 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, the monitor ensures smooth and responsive gameplay, catering to both competitive and immersive gaming scenarios.
