In response, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa explained that while the Switch 2 is more expensive than older consoles, it offers better features and a more exciting gaming experience. Nintendo is making strategic moves to ensure the successful domestic launch of its highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2.
