Alongside the NES Classic Edition, the SNES Classic will also be available through the end of the year. The NES Classic Edition has an MSRP of USD59.99 (~Php3,142.61) and will be available on June 29, 2018 in the US. According to Bloomberg, Nintendo is providing Japanese retailers with an unusually attractive wholesale deal. As the Switch 2 launch approaches, it will be interesting to see if Nintendo’s tailored approach to the Japanese market will translate into another blockbuster success story.
