Nintendo has surprised fans yet again, but this time it’s not a new console like the much-anticipated Switch 2. Known as the Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo, this $100 device is set to release in early 2025, offering a unique twist on the usual wake-up routine. While Nintendo is famous for its innovative consoles and games, the Alarmo fits right into their catalog of unconventional gadgets, like the Labo VR headset. The bright red clock has a classic Nintendo aesthetic, resembling Mario’s color scheme with a large white button at the top. This sleep-tracking feature is made possible by technology that Nintendo has been developing for some time. For added fun, Nintendo fans will be able to customize the Alarmo with 35 scenes and soundtracks from popular games like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, and even Ring Fit Adventure. Last March we saw the rise of a hybrid console in the form of the Nintendo Switch. It immediately put Nintendo back into the competition, but sadly during release, we only had a small library of games. You can get the physical copy of the game at Datablitz or at GameOne PH/iTech for Php 2,750 or digitally for $59.99 (~Php 3,077.79) at Nintendo's e-shop.
