Jez Corden of Windows Central previously reported that Xbox has been in talks with PC storefront owners, including Valve, about potential integration with future hardware. The rumored next-generation Xbox strategy includes a successor to the Xbox Series X paired with a handheld device, both expected to release in 2027. If realized, Steam integration could allow Xbox users to access a vast library of PC titles, including indie games and user-created content, directly from their consoles. The feature will also expand beyond PC, with Microsoft confirming that Gaming Copilot will arrive on the Xbox mobile app for iOS and Android in October.
