League of Legends developer Riot Games has just announced that beginning August 19, it will be increasing the prices of Riot Points (RP), one of League of Legends' main currencies, and TFT coins, its currency on the mobile version of Teamfight Tactics. Riot Games is officially expanding its League of Legends universe into the world of trading card games. After months of speculation under the codename “Project K,” the studio has revealed the title of its long-awaited card game: Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game. Riftbound is designed to offer a rich, flexible card game experience, drawing from the lore, champions, and action-packed feel of the League of Legends franchise. https://youtu.be/BSr32eiUeyU The name “Riftbound” is meant to evoke Summoner’s Rift, the iconic battlefield of League of Legends, while also suggesting the fast-paced action and strategic depth of a trading card game. Beginning next week, the company will activate in-game fundraisers in VALORANT and League of Legends, with proceeds going toward wildfire relief efforts. Meanwhile, League of Legends will bring back the Firefighter Tristana skin, originally released in 2010. This ultra-rare skin, which has been in high demand among League players, will be available in the shop from January 23rd to February 5th.
