Valve is adding a sleek new look to its handheld gaming lineup with the announcement of the limited edition White Steam Deck OLED. Starting November 18, the White Edition will be available in limited quantities across all regions where the Steam Deck currently ships, giving fans a fresh colorway without the need for custom skins. The new White Steam Deck OLED shares the same specs as the one-terabyte model, featuring Valve's recently released OLED display technology, which boasts improved contrast, richer colors, and better battery efficiency. This is Valve’s second color variant, following last year’s release of the popular smoky translucent Steam Deck OLED, which quickly sold out and demonstrated high interest in alternative designs. In addition to the device itself, the White Edition Steam Deck comes with an exclusive white carrying case, adding a matching accessory for users on the go. In a statement, the company highlighted, “We’re continuously working to improve Steam Deck, from ongoing software updates to the recent launch of the Steam Deck OLED. The Steam Deck OLED has been warmly received since its launch in March 2022, and this limited release offers a fresh twist for fans of Valve’s handheld console.
