On E3's X account, the expo has announced that they will no longer be making E3 events anymore. MSI, one of the leading companies that produce gaming laptops, will be having an Early Christmas sale in Gilmore starting tomorrow. The Witcher 3 stole the show One of the biggest surprises of Gamescom 2026 came from CD Projekt Red, which announced a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt more than a decade after the original game launched. CD Projekt Red instead confirmed that the next mainline game is targeting 2028, with more than 500 developers currently working on it. The 2027 reboot received a more substantial look at its world, including a full quest in Bowerstone showcasing exploration, combat, dialogue choices, and its property systems. Playground Games is also leaning heavily into the series' British identity, with more than 100 voice actors from different parts of the UK contributing to the game. More than 5,000 fans watched the presentation in person, while millions more tuned in online. The roughly two-hour show featured more than 35 trailers and announcements.
