Nintendo has announced a new update for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch platform, letting you race with Link as your character. The update brings the Master Cycle Zero and Master's Tunic Link from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, as well as the Ancient Tires and Paraglider parts. Mario Kart World, the flagship launch title for Nintendo’s new Switch 2 console, hit stores on June 5, 2025, promising to revolutionize the kart racer with its expansive Free Roam mode and 24-player races.
