SIBOL’s MLBB Squad Gears Up to Conquer IESF 2025 in Berlin

The Philippines’ flagship esports program SIBOL has unveiled its men’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster for the 2025 IESF World Esports Championship, and the lineup packs both veteran savvy and fresh firepower. Under coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez, last year’s SIBOL MLBB champions Team Falcons PH will return to the world stage in Berlin, aiming to reclaim gold with a squad refined through domestic trials.

Headlining the team is Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas, crowned Finals MVP at the M6 World Championship with ONIC Philippines. He joins familiar faces from SIBOL’s combine: EXP laner Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya (Team Liquid PH), gold laner Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, mid laner Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, EXP laner David Charles “FlapTzy” Canon, roamer Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, and jungler Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson. Analyst Vincent “Pandora” Unigo rounds out the staff, ensuring data-driven strategies against tough international rivals.

This veteran core previously brought home MLBB gold at the 2023 IESF Championship, defeating Indonesia, and at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia with a win over Malaysia. Though Malaysia claimed revenge in the 2024 IESF finals, SIBOL’s men remain determined to restore the nation’s dominance in the sport.

On the women’s side, Omega Empress steps forward as the Philippines’ first female MLBB embassy at IESF. Coach Salman “KingSalman” Macarambon leads mid laner Rica “Amoree” Amores, gold laner Shen “Shinoa” Perez, EXP laner Gwyneth “Ayanami” Diagon, jungler Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto, roamer Mery “Meraaay” Vivero, and specialist Nina Nicole Segismar. SIBOL’s expansion into women’s esports reflects the growth of MLBB’s competitive scene across Southeast Asia, where female tournaments at events like MPL PH and SEA Games have gained traction.

Beyond MLBB, SIBOL has also confirmed Execration for Dota 2 representation, led by coach Wei Lee “Arthur” Yip and featuring Joel Pagkatotohanan, Bryle Alvizo, Charles Delos Santos, Jinn Lamatao, Mark Jubert Redira, and Justine Grimaldo. The IESF World Esports Championship—boasting over 30 game titles and more than 50 participating countries—will showcase global esports talent, though exact dates are still pending announcement.
