LEGO 2K Drive available worldwide

Today, 2K and the LEGO Group announced LEGO® 2K Drive is available worldwide on May 19, 2023. In the large, open universe of LEGO 2K Drive, which was created by Visual Concepts, players may construct any kind of car, travel anywhere, and establish themselves as racing legends. This game expands on the well-known LEGO play experience.

The launch of LEGO 2K Drive will mark the beginning of a multi-title relationship between 2K and the LEGO Group to create AAA LEGO games. With the LEGO Group’s unparalleled cultural influence and 2K’s demonstrated competence in developing high quality and engaging interactive entertainment products, the partnership will develop the renowned LEGO games experience that fans know and love in exciting new ways.

First-ever LEGO driving game will include open-world driving and competitive racing combined with the best aspects of LEGO 2K Drive, which will also have a robust system for vehicle customization.

The McLaren Solus GT and McLaren F1 LM, which were recently released in a LEGO Speed Champions double-pack set to help celebrate 60 years since racer and engineer Bruce McLaren who founded McLaren, will also be introduced to the world of Bricklandia as part of a partnership with supercar and hypercar manufacturer McLaren Automotive.

Key features of LEGO 2K Drive include:

● A Story in a Vast Open World: Players will travel throughout Bricklandia’s several distinctive biome zones competing against a number of foes in the hopes of one day taking home the prized Sky Cup Trophy. With a large open environment to explore filled with racing, minigames, challenges, collectibles, objects to demolish, and well-known cars from LEGO themes including City, Creator, Speed Champions, and more, players may customize their gameplay in LEGO 2K Drive.

● High-Octane LEGO Racing: In LEGO 2K Drive, racing allows players to compete on a variety of tracks while utilizing power-up abilities that, at the push of a button, can change a player’s position in the race.

● Unique Customization: In addition to a variety of color schemes, stickers, flairs, and other options, LEGO 2K Drive introduces a robust customization system that enables players to construct their own vehicles using over 1,000 unique LEGO components that become accessible throughout the course of the adventure.

● Play Solo or Together: Strong cooperative play and exhilarating multiplayer competition are available in LEGO 2K Drive for group play. Play locally on a 2-person split-screen with loved ones, or compete online against other racers of similar ability.

Three editions of LEGO 2K Drive will be available:

● The Standard Edition will be available for $59.99* on PlayStation®4 (PS4™), Xbox One, PC and Nintendo SwitchTM and $69.99* on PlayStation®5 (PS5™) and Xbox Series X|S in both physical and digital formats.
● The Awesome Edition will be available for $99.99* and includes a new vehicle, vehicle flair, and an in-game LEGO minifigure. Players will also receive the Year 1 Drive Pass**, which will introduce an all-new biome, in addition to four individual post-launch seasons of Drive Pass content, each with new vehicles and themes.
● The Awesome Rivals Edition will be available for $119.99* and includes multiple new vehicles, a vehicle flair, and in-game LEGO minifigures. Players will also receive the Year 1 Drive Pass**, which will introduce an all-new biome, in addition to four individual post-launch seasons of Drive Pass content, each with new vehicles and themes.

LEGO 2K Drive Standard Edition will be made available globally for the PlayStation®5 (PS5™), PlayStation®4 (PS4™), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 19, 2023. Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition will be accessible digitally starting on May 16, 2023***, and Awesome Edition (Physical) will also be accessible starting on that date at specific retailers in specific regions for the PlayStation®5 (PS5™), PlayStation®4 (PS4™), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch™ while supplies last.****
