Alienware outs new gaming laptops with new design and GTX 10-Series graphics

Alienware has announced its new line of VR-ready gaming laptops powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series mobile graphics – the Alienware 17 and Alienware 15.

The new Alienware 17 and 15 gaming notebooks feature a new hinge-forward design and materials such as anodized aluminum, magnesium alloy, steel reinforcement and copper. It also sports the new Alienware TactX keyboard with RGB lighting and full 2.2mm travel.

The Alienware 17, being the flagship notebook, sports an overclocked Intel Core i7 k-series processors, DDR4 memory running up to 2667 Mhz, and GTX 1080 GPU. There’s also an added support for optional IR Tobii eye-tracking technology.

The Alienware 15, on the other hand, sports a 15.6-inch Full HD 120GHz display with G-Sync, VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics, and 68 watt-hour lithium ion battery.

Both models support the Alienware Graphics Amplifier should gamers find the need to boost graphics performance with an extra GPU.
