MOONTON Games has launched the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Global Skin Design Contest 2026, inviting artists worldwide to submit original hero skin concepts for MLBB.
The contest carries the theme “Era of Awakening: The Clash of Two Destinies,” where participants can choose between two fictional civilizations and create a complete hero skin series based on the selected concept.
Artists can submit entries until June 21, 2026. MOONTON said the contest also offers potential remote employment opportunities for selected creators whose work aligns with MLBB’s visual direction.
The judging panel includes MLBB Senior Concept Designer Ma Hui, MLBB Chief Artist Wenjun Lin, Overwatch concept artist Ben Zhang, and Adrian Smith, known for work on Warhammer 40,000 and Magic: The Gathering.
According to MOONTON, participants must create a five-hero skin series covering different MLBB roles and submit original artwork without the use of generative AI tools.
Contest mechanics

- Prize pool: USD 49,000
- Open to individual artists worldwide
- AI-generated artwork is prohibited
- Participants must create skins for five selected heroes across different lanes
Winners will be announced in July 2026.
