Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games have announced that they are partnering up once again for three new Star Wars games. The currently teased game is a sequel to the popular Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a first-person shooter, and a strategy game, all in development from Respawn Entertainment. In addition, Respawn will produce the new Star Wars strategy game while Bit Reactor leads the title’s development. Quantic Dream, another studio, revealed last December that they also have a game entitled Star Wars Eclipse, set in the new High Republic Era of Star Wars. Fortnite Chapter 6’s highly anticipated Season 3, Galactic Battle, arrives May 2, bringing a full Star Wars takeover of the island. In-game abilities borrow heavily from Star Wars lore. The new Giant-Size Brain Blast mode returns April 25, layering bobble-head cosmetics onto the Star Wars map for whimsical warm-ups before Season 3 goes live. Galactic Battle lands just days before Star Wars Day on May 4, cementing Fortnite’s ongoing partnership with Disney that began in 2019.
