Sony has launched a limited edition model of the PlayStation 4 called DAYS OF PLAY LIMITED EDITION 2019 along with numerous product discounts for customers. As part of the global Days of Play sale which will commence on June 7, 2019, until June 17, 2019, Sony launched the PS4 limited edition Steel Black color. Sony is exploring a future where PlayStation controllers may never need to be plugged in again. The patent, titled "Operation Device," reveals Sony’s plans to embed photovoltaic elements—the same technology used in solar panels—into the structure of PlayStation controllers. Sony’s proposal could position the PlayStation brand as a leader in green gaming innovation—something no other major console manufacturer has yet seriously pursued. Sony is giving PlayStation 5 fans a sleek new option with its collection of black accessories, now available for preorder ahead of their official release on February 20th. Announced during CES last week, the lineup includes the black DualSense Edge controller ($199.99), Pulse Elite headset ($149.99), Pulse Explore wireless earbuds ($199.99), and PlayStation Portal ($199.99). The PlayStation Portal, Sony’s remote play handheld, now features black buttons to match the DualSense Edge, while still sporting the black accents seen on the original white model.
