Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that The Sims 4 (base game) will be free-to-play starting October 18. The Mavis-developed simulation game will be available to download for FREE on PC and Mac via EA app, Steam, or Origin, including consoles like PlayStation (PS5/ PS4), and Xbox (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One). Players may claim it by simply logging in to the game and it will available be right on the main menu. Maxis also said that their team is 'more dedicated than ever' in developing new and meaningful experiences for The Sims 4. https://youtu.be/ZFkqTSU9tSo EA will also hold a presentation event "Behind the Sims Summit" on October 18, 2022 (10 am PDT/ 1 pm ET) via The Sims YouTube and Twitch channels. These past months have been a big blast for the gaming community with the launch of big games like Resident Evil 7, Nioh, For Honor, and Horizon Zero Dawn.
