For those who want a bit of nostalgia, ROHAN Online has now re-opened for all Southeast Asian players to enjoy. Now titled as ROHAN: Vengence, it comes as a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game(MMORPG) with PvP-oriented elements, an item mall for premium in-game equipment and accessories, and a manga-inspired character design and art style set in the medieval era. Ragnarok Online launched in the Philippines just recently and will be free to play with the Closed Beta Testing slated for mid-June. After a few months of waiting, Ragnarok Online will officially relaunch in the Philippines. As posted by the Ragnarok Online Philippines Facebook page, there will be celebrity guests and bands plus, of course, prizes and goodies including a giveaway of in-game items. Several Korean websites have reported that Ragnarok Online is being brought back to the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries through a new publisher. According to multiple sources, Gravity (which made Ragnarok Online) has awarded a USD1 Million license to Ragnarok Thailand publisher Electronics Extreme to distribute the game in other Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and here in the Philippines.
