Looks like Razer is off to a tremendous start this year as they announced yet another set of devices this CES 2018. The wireless mouse and mouse mat combo are the first to make use of what Razer calls as the Hyperflux Wireless Power Technology a new kind of wireless delivery that allows seamless uninterrupted power between Hyperflux-enabled devices. As for the devices themselves, the Razer Mamba Hyperflux features a 5G optical sensor with a maximum DPI of 16,000, RGB lighting, nine independently programmable buttons, and Razer's proprietary Adaptive Frequency Technology (AFT). Both devices have access to Razer's Chroma lighting software. Both the Razer Mamba Hyperflux and Razer Firefly Hyperflux are priced at $249.99 (~ Php 12,590) and will be available in Q1 2018 via RazerStore.com and select retailers. Today at CES 2018, gaming hardware company Razer has announced a partnership with lighting giant Philips, for integration of the Philips Hue Entertainment API with the Razer Chroma lighting system. “Razer Chroma is the world’s largest lighting ecosystem for gaming devices, and with Philips Hue, we are transforming the gaming experience in the home,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said. This innovative system will verify users through a secure process—requiring players to scan their passports or visit designated Orb locations to create a unique iris code—ensuring that anyone using a Razer ID is authenticated as a real person.
