Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games have announced that they are partnering up once again for three new Star Wars games. The currently teased game is a sequel to the popular Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a first-person shooter, and a strategy game, all in development from Respawn Entertainment. Respawn Entertainment is the developer of popular games such as Titanfall and Apex Legends. In addition, Respawn will produce the new Star Wars strategy game while Bit Reactor leads the title’s development. “We are excited to continue working with the superbly talented teams at Respawn,” said Douglas Reilly, VP, Lucasfilm Games. Quantic Dream, another studio, revealed last December that they also have a game entitled Star Wars Eclipse, set in the new High Republic Era of Star Wars. Sony is set to launch Midnight Murder Club, its console-exclusive “horror party game,” on Thursday, August 14, and, unusually, it’ll also arrive on PC that same day. After several months in early access, the game has earned “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam and 4.49 stars on the PlayStation Store, despite a modest player base so far.
