Nintendo has officially announced that the 3DS and Wii U online servers will end their services this year. In an official post in Nintendo's website, online play and communication will cease for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U on April 8, 2024. The Nintendo 3DS was officially launched back in 2011 whereas the Wii U was released back in 2012. It has a built-in NFC for amiibo cards and figures and can play the massive library of quality Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games in 2D.
