Mobile games rarely stick around for a decade, but Gabriele Cirulli's 2048 has proven its staying power. Originally hailed as the "Candy Crush for math geeks," 2048 tasks players with sliding and merging numbered tiles on a 4x4 grid to reach the elusive 2048 tile. Reflecting on the game's success, Cirulli remarked, "After getting addicted to similar puzzle games, I decided to create my own version of 2048 purely for fun. These past months have been a big blast for the gaming community with the launch of big games like Resident Evil 7, Nioh, For Honor, and Horizon Zero Dawn. It's not over yet though as more games are launching next month. Check out some of the video games to watch out for next month.
