The Mario Kart Tour Android game by Nintendo is now accepting Closed Beta participants for a limited time. Announced in February 2019, one of the most famous racing game franchises of the company, Mario Kart, goes to Android as Mario Kart Tour. This workaround, however, requires extra hardware and a bit of patience while the match lobby “warms up.” Meanwhile, the remainder of Mario Kart World’s modes—Grand Prix, Knockout Tour, and Time Trials—retain traditional split-screen for up to four players, preserving some of the series’ cherished shared-screen moments.
