The platform is also introducing more robust parental control features, allowing parents to monitor their child’s activity directly from their own devices. Earlier this year, Bloomberg detailed cases of predatory behavior on the platform, revealing incidents where individuals groomed or targeted children. By restricting communication and boosting parental oversight, Roblox seeks to address these criticisms while ensuring a safer gaming environment for its youngest users. Turkey even blocked access to Roblox in August, citing safety concerns, though the platform has since made overtures to restore access, including the promise of opening a local office.
