Blizzcon 2021 had a lot of interesting announcements like Overwatch 2, new expansions for World of Warcraft, and a lot more. But out of all of the up-and-coming game releases, one game that stood out from the rest wasn’t a “new” but a remastered edition of one of the best games ever made for the PC, Diablo II: Resurrected.
This seemed initially odd for Blizzard since they aren’t known for making the greatest remasters, but being part of Alpha Testing changed my whole perspective on this already established game. To know more about Diablo II: Resurrected, check out our first impression in this video below!
Pretty neat. Some gamers would definitely play it again but there is no point if it will not provide anything new besides prettier looking and have to pay for it. One would rather play Path of Exile and the upcoming Path of Exile 2 or Guild Wars 2 which programmers definitely came from those who had a hand on the Diablo series.
