As an update to the previous article “10 Upcoming Games for the Nintendo Switch,” it is unfortunate to update all Zelda fans, that Nintendo has recently announced a delay in the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel. Due to this delay, the release date of said game has been pushed back to Spring of 2023. This has come as no surprise as its first game was also delayed from 2015 to 2017. So that means that Breath of the Wild will have to wait a little bit longer to be able to play its long-awaited sequel.
Included in this announcement by Nintendo, is a statement saying that this sequel will also include new gameplay elements, as well as new encounters in the upcoming game. It will be very exciting to see what additions it will have, as its first installment featured endless ways to play the game.
