Epic Games has revealed their free game for today as part of its Holiday Sale 2020, Defense Grid: The Awakening, a tower defense game.
Defense Grid: The Awakening is a tower defense game developed and published by Hidden Path Entertainment. As a player, your goal is to stop a horde of enemies from reaching the core by building tower defenses around their base.
The game boasts 8 hours of gameplay in the main story line, additional hours of play in challenge modes, replayable levels with increasing rewards, 20 unique environments, 10 different tower types, 15 different enemy types that gets tougher as the level progresses, achievements, and leaderboards.
