Electronic Arts (EA) has announced a forthcoming price increase for its EA Play subscription service, effective May 10. The standard tier of EA Play will see a rise from $4.99 to $5.99 per month, with the annual fee escalating from $29.99 to $39.99. Similarly, the Pro tier, offering additional perks and early access to EA’s latest titles, will climb from $14.99 to $16.99 per month, or $119.99 annually, marking a $20 increase.

EA’s move follows similar actions by competitors such as Sony, which raised the price of its PlayStation Plus subscription last September.
