Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament for 32nd SEA Games starts on May 10

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) will start on May 10 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Starting on May 10–11, 2023, a separate tournament for female players (under the Female Category) will be held as part of the medal event for the first time. The Male Category matches are scheduled for May 12–14, 2023.

Mlbb Sea Games Female Category

Teams will be split into two (2) groups for the MLBB SEA Games competition, which will take place in the Naba Theater at NagaWorld 2, Phnom Penh. The six nations taking part in the female division are Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, and Vietnam.

On May 10, 2023, all matches will be played in a best-of-one (Bo1) single-elimination style. Each group’s top two teams will then compete for the championship title and podium positions. The best-of-five (Bo5) match series will be used for the final match, which is slated for May 11.

Meanwhile, for the male division, nine nations will compete for gold at the MLBB SEA Games: the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Timor Leste, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Indonesia. The outcomes of the group draw are as follows:

Similar to the female games, these will be Bo1 matches. Group A will start on May 12.

The grand final, which will take place on May 14, 2023, will feature a best-of-five (Bo5) format and the top two teams from each group will advance to the following round in a best-of-three (3) series.

Since the Southeast Asian Games began in 2019, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has been featured as a medal competition. The first and second versions took place, respectively, in the Philippines and Vietnam.
