ASUS ROG outs Strix XG27VQ Curved Gaming Monitor

The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a new curved gaming monitor called the Strix XG27VQ.

This 1800R curved monitor has a 27-inch Full HD display (16:9 aspect ratio) with 1920 x 1080 resolution at 144Hz refresh rate which gives a smooth gaming or watching experience for the users. Its main features are the Extreme Low Motion-Blur that enables minimal blurs on the graphics that are shown and the Adaptive-Sync or FreeSync technology that prevents tearing of visuals shown on the monitor. Another feature is their ASUS Aura RGB lighting display on the back of the monitor and a light signature below.

The ROG Strix XG27VQ also features the ASUS GamePlus hotkey in which users can adjust the overlay crosshair, timer, fps counter, and display alignment, as well as the ASUS DisplayWidget software which configures the ASUS GameVisual (made up of 7 preset display modes), App Sync, and Blue Light Filter.

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ is showcased at the ROG Masters at SM North EDSA Cyberzone from August 19-20, 2017 and at the Cebu Cyber Expo in SM City Cebu until August 20, 2017. The gaming monitor will be available by September 2017, with local price yet to be announced.
