When XBOX Game Pass PC was first announced, you know that we would be one of the first ones to pick it up. With Php119/month and over 300 games, that price offer was just too good to turn down. So after weeks of playing, we’ve collated a top 5 list of games from Game Pass PC.

I’ve always been a racing-game fan, whether it was Need For Speed, Gran Turismo, and even the likes of Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing, that genre of gaming always hit home to me. So when I saw that the Forza Horizon games were on Game Pass PC, it was an instant download.
The story doesn’t really matter in this game, but what does matter though are the hundreds of cars that are playable in this game. Being able to tune your cars to how you want them to drift, maybe increase its acceleration, or adjust how hard they brake are just the beginning on how customizable these cars are.
Also one of the first games I downloaded when I first got Game Pass, The Ascent is a top-down shooter akin to the Diablo Series, where you plow through multiple enemies, collecting loot to sell or equip, and kill a few bosses. Though the story isn’t as interesting as I had hoped, the gun play is awesome and satisfying, and constantly upgrading your gear is something I enjoy very much.
What makes this game even greater is that it also has co-op up to 4 players, so maybe you want to squad up with the gang and just mindlessly shoot up some NPCs, this game is definitely for you.
For those JRPG fans out there, Dragon Quest XI is available on Game Pass PC. This game would immediately make up for the Php119 monthly fee for Game Pass. I finished this game back on the Nintendo Switch, and the main story alone is 40 to 50 hours long. The post-game story should last you another 30, but even I haven’t finished it yet. In this story, you find out you are The Luminary, the chosen one who is destined to destroy the evil forces that vow to destroy the world of Erdrea.
For those not familiar with the Dragon Quest series, it is a turn-based JRPG that has an incredible story, and even better characters. What makes Dragon Quest XI different from the others though, is that this is the first time we’ve seen a Dragon Quest game in full 3D graphics, but still gives you the option to switch back to the classic 2D pixel style. This game is a must-play for those who love JRPGs, and for those who are into deep and rich stories and lore.
Since platformer games are one of my favorite type of game genres, trying out Psychonauts 2 was a no-brainer for me. You play as the newly-hired Psychonaut Razputin Aquato or “Raz”, and your goal is to discover who could be the mole or traitor in the group of Psychonauts.
If I could compare the gameplay to other 3D platformers, my head would instantly move to Kirby and the Forgotten Land, or Mario Odyssey, but a little bit more zoomed in. As a Psychonaut, Raz is able to move items around using his telepathic powers, this allows the game to have multiple puzzles, and endless ways to deal with other enemies. As a whole, Psychonauts 2 is a great 3D platformer, and since it does come with Game Pass PC, the least you could do is try it.
Having bought this game on release in 2019, seeing it available on Game Pass made me extremely happy, as I could finally see more people play this game. From the original developers of Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment released The Outer Worlds, a first-person RPG similar to those of Fallout and Skyrim.
The game places you as a stranger aboard the colony ship called the Hope. After being awakened, you are then placed into the Halcyon System, and it’s up to to make your own decisions on how you and your newly found crewmates plan on making a difference in that said system. Just like Fallout and Skyrim, your choices do matter in this game, so I won’t spoil any of the story.
