PUBG Mobile is coming in hot with new updates and new collaborations in its upcoming Version 2.0 update.
PUBG Mobile has just announced a bunch of huge updates coming soon this May 2022. Set to arrive in its Version 2.0 Update are the Official Livik Map and new collaborations with The Great British Teddy Bear Company, K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK, and the classic anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The announcement was released as part of PUBG Mobile’s Step 4ward Launch. With PUBG Mobile’s 2×2 sized maps, Livik matches are said to be short, fast-paced, and action-packed. The Livik map comes with new themed areas, a new all-terrain vehicle, XT weapon purchasing, as well as new gameplay and features. The new locations in the Livik map will be split into four areas namely, Midstein, Blomster, Logistic Center, and Iceborg. The new update will also feature a new Advanced Supply Zone that will now randomly appear near the flight path when dropping.
Besides the new Livik map, there will also be a new Emergency Pickup map mechanism coming to both Erangel and Miramar maps which will allow players outside the play zone to call in a rescue plane via using a hot air balloon to carry the players to the middle of the play zone. The Version 2.0 update will also be giving us new arena areas on the Sanhok map.
Other new updates include improvements in the game’s anti-cheating software with the introduction of Ban Pan 2.0 using their Fog of War Anti-Cheat System. As well as a new haptic feedback feature to help give a more immersive experience when playing the game.
