Thermaltake is embracing Scandinavian design trends by introducing wood-textured finishes to its popular PC cases and gaming furniture. Announced ahead of Computex 2025, this aesthetic update brings a touch of natural elegance to the tech world.
The new wood-accented options will be available on several existing Thermaltake cases, including the Tower 600, TR100, View 380/380 XL, View 270, and View 170.
Customers can choose between dark wood accents paired with black or navy blue chassis, and light wood accents paired with white chassis. These visual enhancements maintain the original features and support of the cases, ensuring no compromise on performance.
In addition to updating existing models, Thermaltake is introducing two new small form factor cases: the TR200 and TR300. These cases build upon the design of the TR100, offering increased height and width to accommodate larger components. The TR300, in particular, is expected to support micro-ATX motherboards and features an optional front panel with wooden slats, reminiscent of the Fractal Design North series. Both cases are confirmed to include an optional 6-inch LCD screen kit and support for up to 360mm radiators and six 120mm fans.
Thermaltake is also expanding its design philosophy to gaming furniture with the launch of the P950 gaming table. This desk features a sleek walnut wood finish and is a result of a collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche. The P950 offers electric height adjustment, RGB lighting control via a mobile app, and health-focused features such as scheduled height changes and usage tracking. It boasts a heavy-duty frame supporting up to 150 kg and includes a programmable controller with four memory profiles for quick adjustments.
These new offerings from Thermaltake reflect a growing trend in the PC industry to blend high-performance hardware with sophisticated, home-friendly aesthetics. By incorporating natural materials and smart features, Thermaltake aims to provide products that not only perform well but also enhance the visual appeal of any workspace or gaming setup.
