Street Fighter 6 will be coming to PC and consoles this June 2, 2023. In fact, it’s already available for pre-order on Steam, PlayStation Store, and more. But if you can’t wait to play the game already or if want to try it out first before buying it, you can now do so. Capcom announced that there will be a Street Fighter 6 open beta happening this May 19-21.
For those that want to sign up and take part in the Street Fighter 6 open beta, you can head over to the Street Fighter 6 website. You’ll also need to register a Capcom ID and link your platform ahead of time. The website says anyone can participate as long as they meet the age requirements and have the appropriate system requirements.
Participants of the Street Fighter 6 open beta will have access to the same content as the closed beta test held last December. Some of the characters available to play include Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken. Meanwhile, there’s also an avatar creation feature. Best of all you can play with friends no matter what system they’ll be using thanks to cross-platform play.
With the official launch of Street Fighter 6 less than a month away, the open beta will give interested players an opportunity to try the latest addition to the Street Fighter franchise. For reference, the last main installment – Street Fighter 5 was released in 2016. So we expect there to be a lot of hype surrounding the new game.
