In April last year, Xbox launched PC Game Pass in five Southeast Asian countries, and since then, the service has been constantly improving, bringing better games and service to players across the region.
The number of PC Game Pass members in Asia alone has doubled! This led to the PC Game Pass one-year anniversary event, held in Sydney on March 16, 2023.
During the session, Xbox provided updates on their efforts to promote accessible gaming in the region and talked about the ID@Xbox program, which allows developers of all sizes to self-publish their games on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and the Xbox app on PC. This opens up new opportunities for local game developers like Ranida Games and other emerging devs to showcase their projects on a bigger platform.
For just PHP 119.00 per month, PC Game Pass subscribers can access over 300 games, including EA Play’s lineup of content. They can also enjoy Riot title benefits for League of Legends and Valorant, as well as access to Xbox Game Studios titles available on Day 1.
Xbox also announced the official support and launch for Xbox controllers in these Southeast Asian Countries.
