The Nintendo Switch OLED is now available for purchase in select gaming stores in the country.
The latest model comes with a larger, 7-inch screen and 720p OLED display. According to Nintendo, the new display will feature a more vivid and power-saving screen compared to the original Switch. Additionally, the device features a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port, 64GB of internal storage, and “enhanced audio” for handheld and tabletop play.
All previously released Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch are compatible with this new model. While fully compatible with most games released in the older models, the new console’s display will not yet be able to support all the design parameters of the Nintendo Labo series.
The Nintendo Switch OLED is priced at PHP 23,595 via iTech and comes with The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword game. DataBlitz is also offering the console with its own bundles that are priced at PHP 24,995.
