Nintendo has officially announced the latest Nintendo Switch OLED along with its specs, pricing, and target release date.
The latest model will come with a larger, 7-inch screen and 720p OLED display. According to Nintendo, the new display will feature a more vivid and power-saving screen compared to the original Switch.
Additionally, the device features a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port, 64GB of internal storage, and “enhanced audio” for handheld and tabletop play.
However, Nintendo has officially told The Verge that the new system “does not have a new CPU, or more RAM, from previous Nintendo Switch Models.” It will also remain with 1080p output on docked mode rather than an upgrade to 4K resolution.
All previously released Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch are compatible with this new model. While fully compatible with most games released in the older models, the new console’s display will not yet be able to support all the design parameters of the Nintendo Labo series.

Moreover, while Nintendo will still offer the classic neon red & blue color scheme with a black dock, it has also introduced an all-new color variant of white & black with an all-white dock.
The Nintendo Switch OLED is priced at USD 349.99, and it will be officially released on October 8.
