Alongside the announcement for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Marvel has revealed that they are bringing Marvel’s Wolverine to PlayStation 5 consoles.
Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone game directed by Brian Horton and Camera Christian, both of whom led the creative efforts on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. According to the team, the goal here for the upcoming Wolverine game is to not only respect the DNA of what makes the character popular but to also look for opportunities to make it feel fresh while reflecting the Insomniac spirit. According to its PlayStation blog, even through its early development, Marvel’s Wolverine displayed emotional narrative and cutting-edge gameplay—something to look out for.
