To help people practice social distancing, GOG.com is giving away classic and indie games for free.
GoG is giving away 27 DRM-free games in total, published from 1980 to 2017. Most games on the library are story-centric action-adventure and strategy games.
If these types of games aren’t your cup of tea, GoG is also holding a spring sale where games are discounted by up to 90% until March 30.
If you’re unfamiliar with GoG here’s a quick way to download and install the free games:
- Create a free account
- Select the game you want to get and add to cart
- Go to your card and click the “Pay for your order now” button.
- Go to your account, click the game you want to install, and a “Download and Install Now” button should appear. The browser should then download an executable installer.
You can check out the free games here, or the spring sale here.
